Marion Fecher
August 15, 1930 — July 1, 2019
Marion Jude Sylvester Fecher, age 88 of Riverside passed away June 29, 2019.
He was born in Fort Recovery, Ohio on August 15, 1930 to the late Norbert and Martha Ann (Gugenbiller) Fecher.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; wife Susan (Annalee); daughter Janet; brother Ernie and sisters Thelma, Kay and Connie.
Mike was married October 11, 1952 to Susan Annalee Mangan who preceded him in death in 2002.
He attended the University of Dayton and Xavier University.
Mike served our country in the Air National Guard.
He worked as a tool designer for many years with NCR, Harris-Seybold Corp., Shefield Corp., Industrial Design Concepts, and G.E.- Elano retiring on October 30, 1992.
Mike was a life-long member of St. Helen Parish and served as President of the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
He is survived by his children David Fecher, Christine Bucheit, Kathryn McNaughton, Barry (Pam) Fecher, Anthony Fecher and Joseph (Kathryn) Fecher; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother Joe Fecher as well as many other relatives and friends.
A special thanks to the staff at Patriot Ridge Community for their wonderful love and care of Mike.
Visitation for Mike will be on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 2-4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 10:30 am at Church of the Ascension in Kettering. Burial will follow at St. Brigid Cemetery in Xenia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike's honor to Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund.
