Mario U. Garcia

GARCIA, Mario U., loving husband, father, and grandfather, age 61, of Riverside, passed away Friday, July 11, 2008. He was born June 21, 1947 in Corpus Christi, TX, the son of Gilbert and Anita (Ramos) Garcia. He was the Pastor of Emmanuel Full Gospel Church in Riverside, worked as a Court Bailiff for the City of Dayton, and was a respected leader in the Hispanic community. Mario was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1968 to 1985 and subsequently served 10 years in the Civil Service at WPAFB. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Aurora (Nino) Garcia; daughter, Laura Garcia; sons, Tony and Daniel Garcia; daughter-in-law, Melissa Garcia; four grandchildren, Valerie, Evan, Alexis, and Savannah; father, two brothers, and three sisters. Visitation will be held Monday, July 14, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.). Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Full Gospel Church (4724 Byesville Blvd, Riverside, OH) with Pastors Gordon Kilburn and Okey Smith officiating.
