Marina Celestina Massanet

Marina Celestina Massanet, 88, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2022. Loving mother of Liza Bonnani, Marina (Richard) Littleton, Sergio (Summer) Vargas and Jose (Jenn) Massanet, adored grandmother of Michelle West, Christopher (Kim) Littleton, Erin (Josh) Kitchen, Sergio (Brittney) Vargas, Antonio Vargas, Elena Vargas, Antonio Massanet, Erin Massanet and Cory Massanet. Marina is also a cherished great grandmother to many and will be missed by all.

Marina was preceded in death by her first husband Marco Tulio Vargas and her second husband Jose Massanet.

Marina was born in Cane La Paz, Honduras on March 3, 1934. She moved to the United States in 1967. Even though she was very far away from her hometown, she was known to be very generous and would make a point to send clothing and other necessities to the community of Cane La Paz. In the US she was a personal seamstress Jones NY and was very dedicated to her career. Her legacy will live on with those that she has left behind.

Family will hold a private memorial for her in her hometown in Honduras.
