Marilyn Townsend, age 69 of Beavercreek, passed away June 30, 2013. She was born March 7, 1944 in Dayton to the late Alson Robert and Thelma Clemmons. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Townsend, Sr; and brother, Robert Wayne Clemmons.
Marilyn is survived by her children: Robert Vernon (Lynn) Townsend, Sr., John (Jena) Townsend, Jr. and Carolyn (Kevin) Webb; 7 grandchildren: Shane, Casey, Brandy, Robert Jr, Jessica, Tracy and John III; 14 great grandchildren; sisters: Freda, Virginia and Joan (Denny); many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Marilyn was a Madison Twp Firefighter and member of the Madison Twp FD 2 Ladies Auxilary. She was also a member of Evangel Church of God. She loved to quilt and go camping.
