Marilyn J. Pease

PEASE, Marilyn Janet, age 87, passed away Saturday February 15, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents Edith and Fabian Clarke and husband of 56 years Howard Dwight Pease; She is survived by daughter Cindy and husband Carl Roeger of Guilford Lake, OH and grandchildren Jon (Gretchen) and great grandson Nathan. Mike (Hilary) and great granddaughters Amelia and Eleanor. Matt (fiancée Anna); son, Steven and wife Cheryl of Travelers Rest, SC and grandchildren Zachary (Orlando FL) and Gregory (Greenville, SC).

She was a long-time member of Church of the Cross United Methodist in Kettering when in earlier years she served the Lord with her beautiful soprano voice in the choir and many times as a soloist. She enjoyed knitting sweaters and afghans for family members. She was a gifted self-taught artist spending many hours drawing pencil, pastel and ink portraitures. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a dog lover from childhood and was especially fond of her companion of the last 12 years, Gizmo.

Visitation will be Saturday February 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM, Service at 11:00 at Church of the Cross, 3121 Wilmington Pike, Kettering, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the missions and ministries of Church of the Cross United Methodist Church at the address above.
