Marilyn N. George

Marilyn N. George, 69, of Spring Valley Township passed away Friday, December 8, 2006 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Mrs. George was born February 22, 1937 in Chester Township Clinton County Ohio to John and Velma (Davis) Kenney. She was preceded in death by her parents and Brother Marvin Kenney. She is survived by her husband Ralph George of Spring Valley and two sons, Michael, wife Lauren of Bellbrook, and Alex, wife Dawn and grandchildren Candace and Alex Logan of Xenia, Brothers Glen and Dean Kenney of Wilmington Ohio, Sister Barbara Parker of Grand Island Florida, and sister-in-law Suzanne Kenney of Sabina. And many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends. She took great pride in the annual drive to assist the Native American Tribes of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska of which she chaired at the Senior Center in Spring Valley. With the help of a group of ladies, school supplies, clothes, and hats that were knitted were sent west. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at New Burlington Cemetery, New Burlington, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Miami Valley Council for Native Americans. PO Box 637, Dayton, Ohio 45401-0637.
