Marilyn M. Tills

TILLS, Marilyn M., age 77, of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008. She was actively involved in Kettering Kiwanis, Centerville Women's Club, volunteered at Kettering and Sycamore Hospitals, and was a Girl Scout Leader. She was born on June 21, 1931 in Dayton, KY to Chester and Edna Miller. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Erwin Tills. Also, by her brothers, William and Lester Gick; sister, Edna Hub; niece, Jesse Riffe, and great granddaughter, Jordan Tills. She is survived by her son, Art Tills; daughter, Kathleen Christensen, and grandchildren, Cameron, Shannon, and Erik Christensen, Matt Tills, Erin Sharp-Tills, and great grandchildren, Noah, Abby, and Hayden Tills. Marilyn also loved her puppies, Dolly, Boomer, Angel, Laddie, and Buttons. Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2009 at David's United Church of Christ, 170 W. David Rd., Kettering, OH. Family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to services. There will be a reception immediately following services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420 or David's United Church of Christ.
