HOWE, Marilyn, age 86, of Beavercreek passed away on Friday, March 15, 2008, at Trinity Community after a brief illness. Marilyn was born February 25, 1922, the daughter of Clinton and Mary Downs. She was proceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Harold Howe and her daughter Becky Leach, five brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her brother Clinton Downs of Xenia, and her children, Bruce Howe of Dahlonega, Georgia, Kenny Howe of Tipp City, Debbie (and Phil) Price of Dahlonega, Georgia, and Denise (and Tim) Peterson of Kettering. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was a life long member of (Grace Gospel Christian and Missionary Alliance) Northmont Community Church and more recently a member of Berean Baptist Temple in Fairborn. Marilyn was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as a loving friend to many. The Family will receive friends and relatives at Newcomer Funeral Home on Dayton-Xenia Road in Beavercreek on Sunday, March 17th from 2-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 17, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lonnie Bacook officiating. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the caring and dedicated staff at Trinity.
