Marilyn J. Heffner, age 84 of Miamisburg, reunited with her husband, Leon on January 26, 2021. She was born on January 5, 1937 in Dayton to the late Dorothea (Myers) Feirl. In addition to her husband and mother, Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, Terry and dear friend, Pat Bell.
She is survived by her son, Timothy (Peggy) Heffner; grandchildren, Christopher Heffner, Jessica Carpenter and Cody (Samantha) Heffner; great-grandchildren, Olivian, Andrew, Xavier, Piper and Teddy; daughter-in-law, Robyn Heffner; lifelong friend, Angela Lovelace; special friend, Phyllis Lewis; dear friend and hairdresser, Wanda Stahl; her cat, Molly and numerous extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thank you to the staff of Day City Hospice, especially, Janice and Becky for their love, care and compassion they provided to Marilyn and her family.
Marilyn enjoyed trips to the casino and was an avid bowler for many years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Miamisburg.
Her greatest joy in life was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Marilyn's wishes were to be cremated and placed next to her husband at Highland Cemetery.
