Marilyn Gierek

GIEREK, Marilyn, age 78, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2006. She was born July 30, 1927 in Germantown, OH, the daughter of Elsworth and Goldie (Mattdix) Summers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Gierek in 1995 and both parents. She is survived by two daughter's and one son-in-law, Arlene and Rick Craft of Beavercreek, Debbie Reid; three grandchildren, Deanna (Steve) Phipps, Gary and Kenny Reid; two great-grandchildren, Payton and Bryson Phipps. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.) where funeral services will be held Friday, June 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
