Marilyn Jean Derksen
July 8, 1928 — January 24, 2024
Marilyn Siemon Derksen, age 95, passed away on January 24, 2024. She was born on July 4,1928 to the late Leo and Ilo Siemon in Tiffin, Ohio. She was raised in Hardin County, Ohio, and graduated in 1946 from Kenton High School. On August 1, 1947 Marilyn married "Hank" Derksen. Hank preceded Marilyn in death in 2005.
Marilyn is survived by her sons: Larry (JoAnn) of Celina, Ohio, Pete (Michelle) of Huber Heights, Ohio, James (Leah) of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Byron (Robyn) of Dayton,Ohio. Marilyn is also survived by serveral grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as her special travel buddy, JoAnn Bundy of West Alexandria, Ohio.
