GUDGELL, Marietta, age 64, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton after battling cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Rosa Rodriguez; husband of 36 years, Ronnie Gudgell, and sister, Carmen Walter. Marietta is survived by her children, Ronald (Amy) Gudgell of Beavercreek and Annette Wilcox of Riverside; grandchildren, Kierston, Megan, Brooke, Robert, Cole, Miranda, Jaken, and Andrew; great grandchildren, Tucker, Lilee, Marli, and Faith; brother, Claus (Anita) Rodriguez; brothers-in-law, Ford Gudgell and Helmut Walter; sister-in-law, Barbara Gudgell; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives, as well as very special friends, Burk Rudat and Irma Rudat. Marietta retired from Phillips Industries after 20 years and recently worked at Pathway School of Discovery. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whom will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 9:30 am until the time of service. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
