Age 73, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Bertha Mae (Gilmore) Gover.
Marietta is survived by four children, Valeria Turner, Serena Reese, James (Tami) Reese & Roselyn Hampton; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and by her extended family & many good friends.
Marietta was a member of the former Christ Worldwide Church. She retired from General Motors in 1995 with 28 years of service. Marietta was a very outgoing, loving, giving woman and very talented in many areas, including decorating, ceramics and other arts & crafts.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday (12/5) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at West Memory Gardens.
