Age 74, of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at Hospice of Dayton.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Keith Garber, who died eight days ago; and by her parents, Joe Sams & Ora Fox.
Marie is survived by three children, Debra A. Koenig, Brian K. Garber and Karen Freiberger; four grandchildren, Sarah Koenig, Karl Koenig, Katherine "Katie" Freiberger and Amanda Garber; and by one half-brother, Mike Sams.
Marie retired from the Dayton Veterans Hospital as a Lab Technician with 33 years of service.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon, Saturday (11/1) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Graveside services will follow at Wares Chapel Cemetery, Preble Co. at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Marie to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
