Phillips, Marie (Leach), 78, of Huber Heights, originally a Texan, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016.
Marie's family was her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, putting puzzles together, cooking, talking with them and supporting them as only she could. Marie loved travelling and she was the best "road trip snack buyer", and was very well known for her one signature dance move. She and her husband, Harold "Bud" enjoyed many trips in their RV. Marie loved flowers and gardening, especially yellow roses, lilacs and Dogwood trees were among her favorites. She was a voracious reader and loved all angels.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Everet and Thelma Leach, son, Ronnie Phillips, two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her husband, Harold "Bud" Phillips; daughter, Julie (Kerry) Cooper, son, Roger (Trish) Phillips, step-children, John(Patti) Agenbroad, Jim (Judy) Agenbroad, Jackie (Rick) Rankin, Jeanne Agenbroad, Jodie (Rich) Bauman; 18 grandchildren; 39 great- grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; sister, Helen Crews; and many friends and relatives in Ohio and Texas.
Visitation 4:00pm to 7:00pm Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where funeral service will be held 1:00pm Monday, August 22, 2016. Burial at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Marie's memory.
