ROTERT, Marie "Mickey", age 75, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007. She was born May 12, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council #63 and the Polish Club. She retired from WPAFB as a Logistics Specialist in 1993. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years (June 6, 1953), Irv Rotert; three daughters, Donna Woolum of Fairborn, Pam (Donny) Fortener of Kettering, and Sue Fugate of Dayton; grandchildren, Jessica (Brian) Hardin, Rebecca Woolum, Melissa (John) McLaughlin, Nick (Meredith) Fortener, and Matthew Fugate; great-grandchildren, David Thompson, Nevaeh Woolum, Jessie Woolum; 4 brothers, Adam (Margene) Davies, Harry (Dotty) Davies, John Davies, and Bill (Diane) Davies; special sister-in-law, Ethel Page; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Adam Davies; mother and step-father, Marie and Sam Faunce; one son, Steve Rotert; one great-grandson, John Patrick McLaughlin; son-in-law, Jesse Woolum, Jr. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 25, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Rick Friebel celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff on the 4E Neuro Advanced Care floor at Miami Valley Hospital. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
