Marie E. Conklin

Marie E. Conklin, age 94, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009. Marie worked for WPAFB for 20 years, in the medical purchasing area. She was a very active member of Lathram Senior Center and she also traveled extensively throughout her life. Marie was a member of St. Albert the Great Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Sivert; two brothers and two sisters. Marie is survived by her daughter, Betty (Bob) Batsche; grandchildren, Christine (Sam) Mauro, Laura (Rick) Hogue, Linda (James) Winship and Teresa (Steve) Lewis; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many other friends and relatives. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 12 pm at Albert the Great Church (3033 Far Hills Ave, Kettering, OH 45429). The family will receive friends one hour prior to mass at the church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family and all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
