Marie Biondie, age 85 of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born February 17, 1936 in Bulls Gap, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her beloved and devoted husband George; son, Michael; grandson, Mikey; parents, George Ward and Ninnie Bell; stepfather, Grover Bell; and brother, Jesse Ward.
She is survived by her loving children, Timothy Biondie, Daniel Biondie, Jeannine Biondie, Jeannette and husband Mark Whiteaker; grandson, Zachary and his wife Alexis; grandchildren, Angela, Daniel and many relatives and friends.
Marie was passionate about tending to her flower gardens, enjoyed crocheting and was especially happy to crochet lap blankets and bennies every year to help keep our precious soldiers warm. She also faithfully donated to many charities. Her unwavering love, care and tireless devotion to her grandson, Mikey, earned her The Mother Of Year Award in 1982. Her favorite most special and cherished time spent with Mikey was singing nursery rhymes together and her JOY was watching Mikey thrive in Special Olympics!!
She was tirelessly devoted to her husband, family and friends, and will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 1:00 pm Woodland Cemetery Chapel (118 Woodland Ave., Dayton, OH 45409).
