Marie R. Aldrich

Marie R. Aldrich , age 74, of Dayton, passed away on December 31, 2022. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on January 7, 1948, the daughter of the late Logan and Delores (Stubman) Humphrey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 43 years, George L. Aldrich, Sr.; and her sister, Helen Reed.
Marie is survived by her loving children, Donna (Joseph) Somuk and George L. (Julie) Aldrich , Jr.; grandchildren, Michael Somuk, Jeffrey Somuk, Steven Somuk, Matthew Somuk and Nicholas Aldrich; brother, Fred (Karen) Humphrey; and many other loving friends.
In her free time, she enjoyed reading, shopping, playing BINGO and spending time with her family and friends. Marie had a unique sense of humor and a very loving heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm, on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at New Carlisle Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Marie's honor to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH, 45420.
