Maribess I. (Eaton) Rogers, age 93 of Winter Haven, FL passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 24, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Arthur and Lola Camery.
Maribess was a member of Beaver Valley Eastern Star #570, Daughter of the Nile Azizah Temple #57, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, United Methodist Women, past president of the Havenettes, VFW Auxillary, a member of Saint John's United Methodist Church and was a dedicated fundraiser for the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital.
Maribess is survived by her husband of 42 years, Herbert; son, Terry (Jerri) Eaton; daughter, Barbara Schoenecke; stepson, Herbert Rogers, Jr.; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Teresa Chessman.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 from 12:30pm until 1:30pm service time at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
