Marian Jean Warner, age 90, of Dayton, passed away on January 6, 2022. She was born in Athens, Ohio on May 22, 1931 to the late Lodes and Mabel Gorby.
She worked in the financial industry and was the Vice President of Administration in charge of financial records at McGohan Brabender Insurance Consultants, where she retired after 20 years. She and her husband enjoyed they arts, frequently attending concerts at the Philharmonic, as well as going out to dance.
In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 38 years, Donald Warner.
Her memory will be cherished by her step-son: Steven (Lynn); grandchildren: Deidre and Randi; nieces and nephews: Donna, Diane, John, David, Linda, Connie, Carol, and Adam; her sister: Patricia and her sister-in-law: Ann.
A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. A graveside service will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marian's memory can be made to Goodwill Industries for the Department of the Blind.
