July 5, 1950 — February 9, 2023
Maria C. Stott age 72, passed away quietly at her care facility Kingston of Miamisburg on Thursday, February 9th, 2023. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 26 years Barry E. Stott, mother Evangeline Barcelon, father Narciso Barcelon, sister Yolanda Lorica, brother Jerome Barcelon, and other brother Dedon Barcelon.
She is survived by her two children Kevin Stott (granddaughter Adalyn), and Angel Stott (granddaughters Hannah, Jemma, & Zoey), her significant other Mike Schibi, siblings Celeste O'Brien, Dante Barcelon, Josefina Pangan, Gregorio Barcelon, Cecille Doploso, Lilian Navarro, Nestor Barcelon, and Eleanor Cadiente.
She was a dedicated mother and mamaw who loved to take her granddaughters to church on Sunday mornings and have lunch with them afterwards. She was a member of the Vandalia Church of the Nazarene, bowler of many years, and loved to travel. Her favorite places were the Philippines, Las Vegas, Hawaii, and the numerous stops during cruises. She had a great sense of humor and will be remembered by many!
Memorial services will be held at the Vandalia Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, March 4th at 4pm.
