Kohl, Maria "Elaina" (Mullins), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, age 68, of Bellbrook, went home to see Jesus on January 12, 2018.
She was born August 15, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio to James D. and Marie Mullins. Elaina was a registered nurse most recently working with Kettering Youth Services. She was a devoted member of The Gathering Place Baptist Church.
Elaina was the Most Beautiful Woman In The World! She was truly THE WORLD'S FINEST!
She was preceded in death by her father, James D. Mullins, father-in-law, Frank Kohl, and mother-in-law, Estella Kohl. Elaina is survived by her mother, Marie Mullins; her husband of 45 years, Gary A. Kohl, dedicated Marine Veteran of 20 years,(THE WORLD'S FINEST); son, James Nicholas (Brenda) Kohl; 3 grandchildren, Zach, Hunter and Kyle; 2 step-granddaughters, Christen (Tyler) Winkle, Megan Ivey; her brothers, David (Connie) Mullins, H. Dan (Edie) Mullins, Phil (Shane) Mullins; her brother-in-law, John (Jo) Kohl, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces , great nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:30am until 11:30am on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at The Gathering Place Baptist Church 3001 Ackerman Blvd. Kettering, Ohio 45429, with Praise and Celebration from 11:30 until time of funeral service at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gathering Place Baptist Church in Elaina's memory.
