Margie Kessell, age 88, of Dayton, passed away on September 27, 2022. She was born on July 30, 1934 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late James and Hannah Noble.
Her grandchildren were her life. She loved spending time with them every weekend, and she never missed any of their events or concerts. Being a grandmother was her greatest accomplishment. During her lifetime, she was able to be a major part of five generations. For Margie, age was only a number, and she lived her life to the fullest. Her presence and love will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Keith Kessell; her sons, Ty and Jimmy; her grandson Jimmy Ty; her great-granddaughter, Abigail; and her three brothers and one sister: George, Joe, Jerry, and Mae.
Her memory will be cherished by her children: Ruby (Gary) Deaton and Lonnie (Jenny) Stacy; her grandchildren: Mike (Stacey), Donna (Kenny), Amanda (Fred), Margie, Danny (Shannon), Jamie (Phillip), Sharon, Tim, Mary, and Gary (Spring); and several great-grandchildren and even a few great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30pm. Following the service, she will be laid to rest with her husband at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.
