Peggy took over ownership of the B &P Company from her grandmother, who invented Frownies Facial Patches in 1889.
When she was young she danced ballet, played the guitar and banjo, rode English saddle, played tennis, golfed, loved fishing for Lake Erie walleye and was a competitive bowler.
She was generous and gracious to everyone. She donated her time to numerous charities. She was a volunteer for Womanline, an organization for unwed mothers and battered women in Dayton.
Peggy lived life to the fullest. Late in life she still had full mental capacity and was known for getting up every day, getting herself fully dressed and ready for the day - hair, makeup, jewelry and a stylish, classy outfit.
She loved her family more than anything. She traveled the world. Owned her own business. Danced to every song. Enjoyed the opera, symphony, Broadway musicals and more.
She loved music and fell in love with and married the man who sang and played piano to win her heart. Peggy was never embarrassed to sing out loud to all her favorite songs. She hosted and attended parties and just plain loved to party. She was fun to be with and always wanted to have fun. She lived every single day of her life. She literally did it all and lived every dream one could have. She was an amazing woman.
Peggy also loved God and prayed every day, especially for her family. She had a big heart for people, and was grateful for what she received even after her stroke when it was a struggle to speak, she would tell the Hospice workers "thank you" as they helped her get through the day.
She will be long remembered in our hearts, and as we told her, "We'll see you later."
