Margaret Nell Webster

Margaret Nell (Martin) Webster born January 11, 1934, in Greenville, Kentucky. Margaret was preceded in death by grandson Jewaun P Webster and Husband Paul E Webster of 57 years.

Margaret was the first African American to graduate from The Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville, Ky. The longest living sibling of 4: Charles Martin, Pearl Thompson, Wilbur Martin, Catherine & Minnie Mae. Margaret birthed 2 beautiful daughters: Marcia (Dave Brady) and Martha Webster-Tigner; 5 grandchildren: Demisha Webster, Leyorkia Webster, Veronica Jones, Tiauna Webster-Croom (Antony) and Jewaun Webster; 10 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; and special friend: Jason Hinesman.

Mrs. Webster and was a US Postal worker for 33 years, a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Dayton Association Deaf (DAD) Club, and DAD Bowling League. She loved making personal unique arts and crafts, and memoir for the deaf. Margaret and Paul did many great performances through mimic and mime for the DAD Club. Margaret and Paul didn't let being deaf hinder them from traveling the world and making many great friends throughout their journey. A host of good friends she loved and had great relationships with. Margaret will be truly missed, and we are sure she is smiling upon us & telling jokes as we celebrate her homegoing.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, Dayton, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm.
