Margaret Mary "Peggy" Van Pelt, age 78, of Troy, passed away December 2, 2022. She was born November 4, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Catherine Haller. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her brothers: Bob, Michael and Jimmy Haller; and sister, Teresa Ryan.
Peggy is survived by her son, Christopher Van Pelt; and grandson, Jonathan Van Pelt.
Peggy was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. She worked at GM/Delphi for many years. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her grandson feeding the birds. Her son and grandson were the light of her life.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Vandalia. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road.
