Margaret Rose Peters

Margaret Rose Peters, age 71 of Washington Twp., passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Stoney Ridge under Affinity Hospice care. She was born July 7, 1951 in Dothan, Alabama, the daughter of the late Thomas and Marge Huth.

Margaret retired from the Wright Memorial Public Library after 30+ years. She was an avid reader and loved being outdoors. She and Jimmy enjoyed biking, backpacking, hiking, and cross country skiing. They also enjoyed cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Alter Knights, and the Cincinnati Bengals. Margaret was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

Margaret is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Jimmy; children, Carrie (Paul) Skowronski, Jamie (Tom) Peters, and Kyle Peters; sister, Regina (Stan) Rosemire; brothers, Tim (Marcy) Huth, Dan Huth; grandchildren, Alaina, June, and Violet; as well as numerous loving relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). A memorial service will begin at 6:00 pm.
