Margaret "Peggy" (nee: Shank) Harshman, of Kettering, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at her residence. She was born on September 17, 1945 in Dayton to John and LaRie (nee: Clark) Shank.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Sherry Hollon; her granddaughter, Chandra Eaton; her brother, Stanley Shank Sr. and her niece, Kimberly Flagg.
Margaret is survived by sister, Janet (Jim) Coleman; her brother, Daniel (Penny) Shank; her daughter, Cindy Burdette; her grandchildren, Cassie (Nevin) Rosas, Jessica Shockey, Jack Burdette; her great-grandchildren, David Celis, Layla Bellmore, Lucas Rosas and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret grew up going to Greenmont Oak Park Church. She was an avid animal lover and loved crafts.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton in Margaret's memory.
The family hopes those who would like to honor her will find a quiet time to remember who she was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial.
