Margaret C. (Merschbach) Phillips
January 21, 1937 — May 8, 2019
Margaret C. (Merschbach) Phillips was born on January 21, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Jacob and Anna Merschbach, the 5th of 12 children, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness.
She is survived by her three children, Michael "Mike" (Donna) Phillips, Karen Hollister, and Kimberly Steffen. Margaret is also survived by her grandchildren, Shannon (Jim), Shauna, Mike (Sarah), Tom, Tiffany, Heather, Joshua, and Amber; great-grandchildren, Camden, Nathan, Kristina, Lyta, C.J., Serenity, Lilith and Laiken, Tanner and Baby Michael.
Marge was a very intelligent, hardworking, independent woman. She was a loyal, dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Marge loved her church, Cornerstone Baptist Church, and many years of joy being involved in activities there, and her wonderful Pastor Siler. Reading her bible daily gave her much strength.
At home she enjoyed playing on the computer and reading.
She will be loved and missed by all forever.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Newcomer, Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd.
An expression of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society in Marge's memory.
