Margaret J. Vegso

Vegso, Margaret Josephine (Burkhead), a Waynesville resident for 39 years, passed away at her home with family by her side on August 15th. She was 72. Peggy was born April 27, 1938, in Dayton, OH to Frank and Helen Burkhead. She graduated from Fairview High School were she was a member of a Sorority and social clubs. She enjoyed working for several years at Bethany Lutheran Village. She also worked at Dimco Gray in Centerville and ChemLawn in Springboro. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Peggy enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, working on crafts, watching Ma and Pa Kettle movies and reading. She loved bluebirds, swans and Disney World. She will be missed greatly by her family. Peggy is survived by her husband, Steve Vegso; children, Cynthia Martinelli, Elizabeth Lehrner and Jennifer Hunt; sons-in-law, Harvey Lehrner and Tim Hunt; granddaughters, Emily, Rachel, Madeline and Ava; and her sister, Nancy Barnes of Georgia, and Aunt Joan Cravens of Columbus, OH. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice.
