Margaret E.(Eileen) Steineman

Margaret E. (Eileen) Steineman, age 87, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 23, 2013 and is now at peace after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
Eileen was born May 5, 1925 in Dayton to the late Jon & Winifred Hogan. She graduated from Stivers High School in 1943. Eileen retired from Sears at the Dayton Mall after 30 years. She was active in St. Henry Parish and was a member of the Choir.
In 1947 she married Robert J. Steineman, who survives her. They had 5 children, Robert A. (deceased), Barry A. (Pam), Randall J. (Rick Sindler), Kimberly A. (Chris) Renner, and Steven C. (Reesie Jaynes); grandchildren, Jonathan, Kathryn (Steve) Tummino, Dan (Amy), Chance, Hayley, John, James, and Jordan; and 3 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 5-7:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Henry Parish (6696 Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449). Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Eileen's memory.
