Margaret C. Miller

MILLER, Margaret C., age 92, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Miller; siblings, Jim, Boo, and Elizabeth McCabe and daughter, Linda Dombrauckas.

She is survived by children, Yvonne Walters and her husband, Bob, Fairborn, OH and Tom Miller and his wife, Carol, Huber Heights, OH; grandchildren, Kevin Hornsby and his wife, Stacy, Miamisburg, OH, Angela Hornsby, Nathan Stupp, Kettering, OH, Joe Dombrauckas, Jill Dombrauckas Collins and her husband, John, Katie Dombrauckas, and Monica Miller, and great grandchildren, Joshua, Madison, and Peyton Hornsby, Samantha Bennett, and Zachary and Gradey Dombrauckas.

Margaret was born in Maysville, KY. She married and raised her family in Dayton, OH. A devoted wife, mother, and Christian. She raised her family in the East Dayton Church of the Brethren and in later years, faithfully attended the Evangel Church of God. She worked at Winter's Bank and in the first years of her husband's retirement, they did Brethren Volunteer Service at The Palms Nursing Home in Sebring, FL. Margaret spent her last years at Patriot Ridge Community Nursing Home in Fairborn, OH. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Patriot Ridge Community and the Hospice of Dayton for all their loving kindness and wonderful care.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton or the Lupus Foundation of America.
