Margaret Seghi: January 1942 – November 2015
Margaret Seghi passed away peacefully on the evening Saturday, November 14th with her closest family present. Born in 1942, although by her admission only "21 again" years old, Margaret will leave a large void with her passing. She was married to Giuseppe ("Pino") Seghi for 56 years and had one daughter, Elena-Marie ("Ellie").
Margaret was a talented cook who frequently made pasta by hand and taught several people in her community how to do so as well. Her meals were always high flavor but low sodium and appreciated by all who shared her dinner table.
A lover of dogs of all breeds, she had the ability to communicate without words with our best friends who seemed to calm in her presence. Margaret also had an innate ability to care for and nurture plants and grew rose gardens which were the talk of any neighborhood in which she lived.
Most importantly Margaret was a good friend to people too numerous to mention individually. She "adopted" several teens throughout her life, inviting many to live with her and her family. With a loving and steady environment, these young individuals grew to adults anybody would be proud to know.
Margaret will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths. She is survived by her husband Pino, her daughter Ellie, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. We know she'll be welcomed at her final destination, although she may have difficulty in convincing Saint Peter of her age.
