HAMILTON, Mardell L. "Dell", beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, age 83, of Vero Beach Florida passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Hospice House in Dayton. She was born in Toledo Ohio on March 21, 1924. She graduated from DeVilbiss High School in Toledo in 1942. Mardell had a long career as an office administrator in various locations including St. Vincent's School of Nursing in Toledo and Dooling Brothers Chatsworth California. Mardell was of the Lutheran Faith. She and Ed loved to travel. They had friends and family across the country. They lived in Toledo Ohio (several times), Simi Valley California, Ft. Wayne Indiana. Most recently, Mardell enjoyed living in Vero Beach Florida, Gardenia Gardens. She leaves many lovely friends and neighbors to remember her there. She loved to read, do crossword & jigsaw puzzles and watch "Cops" on TV. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward L. Hamilton and her parents Paul and Edna Marie Griffith. Mardell is survived by her children Michael (Lisa) Hamilton of Dayton, Susan (James) Lech of Vero Beach Florida; grandchildren Kassie (Alan) Ward, Kim (Tim) Bohac, Stevie Hamilton and Andrew Barry (fiancé), Edward L. Hamilton II, Katlyn Hamilton; great-grandchild Peyton Ward, Keegan Ward, Morgan Bohac, Marissa Bohac; brother Kenneth (Sandee) Griffith of Petersburg Michigan; sister Pauline Sergent of Commerce Georgia; nieces; nephews; and many other relatives and friends. There will be a Graveside service at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park in Toledo Ohio, at 11:00AM on Friday, March 21, 2008. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mended Heart Chapter 100 (5539 Sunnyside Drive Toledo, OH 43612) and Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420).
