Mardell Jones, age 97, of Miamisburg, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 18, 2017.
Mardell retired after 30 years at Frigidaire. She loved country music.
Mardell was preceded in death by her son, Harold; husband, Elbert Jones; parents, George & Elizabeth Wertz; and siblings, Mae, Chuck and George Jr.
She is survived by her son, James Jones; brother, James Wertz; numerous nieces & nephews; extended relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 1:30pm at the funeral home. Mardell will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
