On Thanksgiving morning Marcia Natalia Sorensen, with her husband by her side, passed from this life to join her parents and other loved ones.
Marcia was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings in the church which included Ward Relief Society President and in the Stake Relief Society Presidency. Her most joyous calling and life's work was serving her children and grandchildren. She particularly enjoyed serving in the Cub Scouts, encouraging her three sons on their way to the rank of Eagle Scout. It was her life's goal to ensure that her boys and husband always "Look Good" so they would "Feel Good" and "Do Good". Her favorite quote was from Emerson, "That which we persist in doing becomes easier not that the nature of the task has changed but that our power to do so has increased." and was used to encourage when the family members were faced with challenges.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Arthur and Ruth Broderick, a granddaughter, Kylee Sorensen, daughter of Matthew and Keri and a Bother-In-Law William Coutta of Las Vegas Nevada.
Marcia is survived by her Husband of 53 years Howard S. Sorensen of Xenia, Ohio; Mathew A. Sorensen (Keri) and their children Broderick, Olivia, and Sarah of Villa Rica, Georgia; David H. Sorensen of Las Vegas, Nevada; Lance S. Sorensen (Michele) and their children Mackenzie, Tyler and Jonathan of Beavercreek, Ohio; and a sister Linda Coutta of Las Vegas, Nevada.
