Marcia Bourne

Marcia Bourne passed away on January 13, 2016 at Hospice. She was born on March 24, 1933 to Ethel and Hurley Maas of New Providence, Iowa. She is survived by her son, Don (Lynn) Bourne of Oviedo, FL and daughter, Tina (Tom) Donovan of Dayton, Ohio, her granddaughter, Stephanie (John) Buchanan, Minot, North Dakota, and her granddaughter, Kimberly (Corbet) Truog, Oviedo, FL, four great, grandchildren, her brother, Richard (Meridean) Maas of Iowa City, her sister, Mary Cook of Fairmont, Minnesota along with 11 nieces and nephews, along with many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd (Anna) Maas, Goldfield, Iowa. She held various positions at Gem City Savings and Chase Bank. She spent the last two and a half years making Elmcroft Assisted Living, Washington Township, Ohio, her home, which she loved. The family would like to thank the staff at Elmcroft for their wonderful care of her for the past two and a half years along with the residents at Elmcroft whom she loved. Additionally, her beloved dog, Sammy, has been adopted by Elmcroft as their new house dog for which we are very grateful.



A Celebration of Life service will be held February 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at David's United Church of Christ, 170 West David, Dayton, Ohio 45429. All are welcome.
