Age 69, of Fairborn, went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 15, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton in the presence of her loving family. She was born July 27, 1937 in Dayton to Rev. James N. & Rev. Charlotte M. (Windsor) Rader.
Marcia is survived by her husband of the past 47 years, Robert L. West, Sr.; five sons, Bryan Bowermaster of Fairborn, Mark West of Portland, Tennessee, Robert West, Jr. of Fairborn, Ray (& wife, Doris) West of Fairborn, Gregory (& wife, Angie) West of Enon; 20 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and by one sister, Ruth (& husband, Henry) Davidson of Hillsboro.
Marcia was a life-time member of the Pentecostal Church and for 26 years she served as the organist for the First Pentecostal Church of Murlin Heights. Most recently she was a member of the Vandalia Christian Tabernacle. Marcia served as a Payroll Analyst for the Miami Valley RTA for the past five years.
The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Monday at the Vandalia Christian Tabernacle, 836 S. Brown School Road, Vandalia and from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at the church. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Todd Hoskins and William Rowe officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Cemetery in Waynesville, Ohio.
