Marcia A. Bunger, age 63, of Lewisburg, beloved wife and loving mother, passed into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by her family.
She was born May 5, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio and raised on a farm east of Verona, Ohio. Marcia was married to Steven Bunger April 10, 1971 in Lewisburg at the Trinity Lutheran Church.
She graduated in 1969 from Twin Valley North High School and attended Wright State University. Marcia was a long-time employee of the First Financial Bank and most recently worked for Staffmark at the Neaton Manufacturing Facility in Eaton.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, D. Leo and Marjorie (Maxel) Herman and brother Roger Herman.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Steven Bunger; son Jason (Dawn) Bunger of Centerville, Ohio and daughter Sarah Bunger, of Chicago, Illinois.
Additionally, she is survived by granddaughters, Jaden and Joiada Bunger, both of Centerville, Ohio; her sister, Marilyn (Jeff) Fields, of Meadowview, Virginia; her uncle Larry (Virginia) Maxel, of Verona, Ohio; her aunts, Phyllis Herman and Zelda Maxel, both of Lewisburg, and nieces and nephews.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Marcia will be forever missed by her family and friends. Her memory will be cherished.
