Marcella Harrell

Harrell, Mrs. Marcella lovingly known as "Madea" age 73 of Akron Alabama, and long time resident of Dayton, OH was welcomed home by God on Saturday, January 17, 2009. She was a long time member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Parish and a beloved community member. Marcella is preceded in death by her mother, Gessela Smith, father, Luther Butler, and aunts, Lula Bell Herndon-McCain and Mittie Walton. She leaves to cherish her memory nine children, Yvonne, Yvette, Yolanda, James "Jimmy"(Claudette), Yvator (Hobert), Yonda, Darryl, Yelinda, Yador (Brenda), 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends. A viewing will be held Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 4-6 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. Burial services will be held Saturday, January, 24, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Greater St. Paul CME in Akron, Alabama.
