Marc Frederick Smith, age 46, of West Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 31, 2021.
Marc was born in Xenia, Ohio on December 28, 1974 to Gordon & Peggy (Van Scoy) Smith.
In addition to his parents, Marc is survived by brother, Michael (fiancée Nichole) Smith; wife, Mindy Smith; children, Blake Fridley and Megan (Brian) Stoner; grandchildren, Cooper, Piper, Olivia, and Winston; aunts & uncles, Kathy (Danny) Schmenk, Patty Brinkman, Debbie (Tom) Molitor and Michael Paul (Kris) Van Scoy; and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Marc was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey & Jo Ann Van Scoy and Helen Gordon Smith; uncle, Dewey Van Scoy III and best friend/brother, Travis "Big T" Johnson.
Marc was an avid baseball and golf enthusiast and helped his younger brother learn the game.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 7th, 2021 from 5-7 pm at the Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The memorial service will follow at 7pm.
Donations can be made in Marc's memory to Crossroads Hospice of Dayton.
