Maranda "Ann" Stringer
Age 84, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 9, 2006, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
Ann is survived by her husband of the past 35 years, Ernest LeRoy Stringer; seven children, Treva Pittman, Corbet Hollon, Velma & Ken Riley, Judith Stringer, Kay & Nick Miller, Deborah Stringer and Cynthia Stringer; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one brother, Frank & Peggy Elkins; one sister, Maryann & Nathan (Jr) Hatton; and by her sister-in-law, Ruby Elkins.
Ann was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise Church in Huber Heights, and will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. During the ten years she lived in Lexington, Kentucky she was employed by Handi Self Storage where she made many very dear friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
