Malcolm was born and raised in Kettering. He attended Carroll High School. Malcolm worked as a route salesman, and more recently, an account sales manager at Dayton Pepsi-Cola for thirty-one years.

There are so many kind and caring people whom he considered family, including lifelong friends Scott and Karen Church; all his co-workers at Pepsi and many loyal customers; Larry Lawrence and all his Sunday golf buddies; Bobby and everyone at Mama Disalvo's Restaurant and everyone at Hickory BBQ and Grub Steak.

He enjoyed Notre Dame, Cleveland Browns, and Cincinnati Bearcats football and many happy years of track meets, cheerleading and soccer games at Fairmont with his three daughters, the light of his life and greatest joy.

Through life Malcolm was one of the lucky ones who truly recognized all he had been given. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed always and forever.
