She is survived by her parents, Aniya Dalon Gilbert and DeAndre Christopher McKinney; sister, Melody McKinney; grandparents, Chad (Lizzy) Gilbert, Yvonne Moore, Tarina Ham and Destry McKinney; great-grandparents, Lonny and Anndail Gilbert and Rita Ham; great-uncle, Kareem (Tamika) Gilbert and many other loved ones.
Malaya was very loved during her short time here, she will be dearly missed.
