Magdalene "Maggie" Smith, age 76 of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023. She was born February 2, 1947 in Campton , Kentucky the daughter of Merida and Evalee Brewer.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Ray Smith; sister, Lillie Philpot; and brothers, Kenneth Brewer, Lloyd Brewer and Larry Brewer.
Maggie worked at Angell Manufacturing for most of her career. She loved working at the food pantry at the Hope Foundation at the Vineyard Church, alongside her husband. She also enjoyed working with her flowers in the yard. Most of all she loved to take care of her family, especially her grandchildren.
Maggie is survived by her daughter, Charla (Chris) Dick; grandchildren, Zach Dick and Elizabeth Dick; 4 brothers; 2 sisters and multiple nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a service at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Maggie will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery following the service.
