Mae Emma Vaughn

Mae Emma Vaughn, age 73 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020. She was born February 17, 1947 in Lexington, Mississippi the daughter of Sampson Moore and Virginia Davis.

Mae was a 1966 graduate of Dunbar High School. She was a baker by trade, working at Good Samaritan Hospital for over 30 years as well as Miami Valley Hospital. Mae enjoyed quilting, fishing, playing bingo and going to the casino.

Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Vaughn, Sr. and sister, Noblee Lenior.

Mae will be missed by her loving children, Sherry Vaughn and Donald Vaughn, Jr. (Michelle North); nieces and nephews, Brenda Lenior, Mark Lenior (Dana), Lamar Lenior, Jamisla Meaux; and cousin Lottie Lenior.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial West Memory Gardens.
