Madonna Schwartz (nee Cook), 74, died Monday May 11, 2009 after a valiant battle with cancer. She leaves behind a wealth of loving family and friends in Dayton Ohio, Rochester NH and her homeland of Canada.
Preceded in death by her son William Anthony and siblings Anna, Betty and Gordon. She is survived by her son John (Leslie) Bellanca, daughter Elizabeth (Alan) Smith, grandchildren Daniel, Zachary and Kaitlyn; beloved life partner and best friend Sal Bellanca, brothers John (Gail) Cook and Philip Cook, cousin Martin (Mary Lou) Hickey and many, many dear friends.
Private family service to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Kettering. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of Dayton. Thank you to all of the caring angels at Rochester Manor, Wentworth Douglass Hospital cancer unit, Hospice of Dayton and Oak Creek Terrace. Madonna appreciated each and every one of you.
