Madonna Marie (Brown) Lee, age 57, a lifelong resident of Dayton, departed this life on June 27, 2020, at Grandview Hospital. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on August 12, 1962, the daughter of the late Jesse and Cora Mae Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Lincoln and Izene Chatman; her daughter, LaTosha Lee; her sisters, Sheila Brown and Patricia Thomas; nephews, Lawrence Brown Sr. "Damonn, "James Williams "Nooney", Latonio Bush; niece, Brittany Williams, Don'Tiaunna Brown; 'special and favorite' great-niece Jordan Spearman.
Madonna leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Chiquita Brown and LaToya Parks; siblings, Elaine Gurley, Shirley Howard, Kimberly (Jerome) Brown, Algenise (Lewis) Ross of Atlanta, GA and Jesse Brown, Jr. of Alabama; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, friends, and associates.
She attended Kiser Vocational High School and was a former member of Omega Baptist Church. Madonna worked for Good Neighbor House, as a Liaison for the pantry.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, chilling at family functions, listening to music, dancing, and cooking. Her favorite moments were spent laughing and exchanging back in the day stories. Madonna had an enormous heart and loved helping others. She'd give her last and put her own needs or wants on hold if someone else was in need of assistance. She was a very caring, giving, and loving person to everyone.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, from 4 pm-5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore
Rd., Dayton, OH, where Funeral Services will be officiated at 5 pm with Rev Ralph Griffin III of the historical First Wesleyan Church.
