Madge Whitaker
August 27, 1935 — February 7, 2013
Madge Elizabeth (Mullins) Whitaker, age 77 of Dayton, passed away February 7, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Dayton. She was born August 27, 1935 in Hitchins, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents: Violanta May (Rice) and Charles Bruce Mullins; and infant son, Brian Scott Whitaker.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gordon Whitaker; sister, Mary Marlowe of Huber Heights; daughters: Tracey Gibson (Mike) of Miamisburg and Sally Keener (Steve) of West Alexandria; grandchildren: Dallas Gibson, Rod, Ryan and Shannon Keener.
Madge retired from Globe Industries in 1988 after 25 years of service. She was an avid garage sale shopper, loved QVC, HSN and enjoyed playing video games. She loved to talk to family and friends on the telephone, especially close family members Angie Sparks and Lynn Walker.
